Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Glenn Hills Spartans (Augusta, GA), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) in a AA Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, March 10. Jefferson County will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record.
The Spartans now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oglethorpe County for a AA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Glenn Hills will confront a Patriots team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-4.
