Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS) and the visiting Amory Panthers (Amory, MS), witnessed Itawamba Agricultural's softball squad tip Amory by a count of 14-7.
The Indians now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Corinth for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 8.
With the loss, Amory moves to 0-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Tupelo (Tupelo, MS) to confront the Golden Wave in a non-league bout on Friday, March 4. The Golden Wave go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Tupelo lost 11-6 in their recent non-league bout against New Albany (New Albany, MS)
