North Carolina High School Softball - South Stanly bounces Anson

South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host West Stanly for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. South Stanly will face a Colts squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Colts record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Anson falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to face the Ragin' Bulls in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 9. The Ragin' Bulls enter the challenge with a record of 3-1.
