With the triumph, Brook Hill moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Guard travel to West Rusk (New London, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league game on Friday, March 4. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 10-0. West Rusk won 17-2 in their recent non-league game against Tyler (Tyler, TX)

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 3. Athens will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 8-4 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Elkhart (Elkhart, TX).
