In Thursday's non-league contest, the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) softball team held off the visiting Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Stuart W. Cramer moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Storm host Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Friday, March 4. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Myers Park won 16-1 in their recent non-league contest against Butler (Matthews, NC)
In their next game, the Ironmen play the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 4. Cherryville will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC).
