Valley Center Jaguars (Valley Center, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Chula Vista Spartans (Chula Vista, CA), 14-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host High Tech SD for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Valley Center will face a Storm squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA). The Storm record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Chula Vista falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Brawley (Brawley, CA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Brawley won 17-1 in their recent non-league challenge against High Tech SD (San Diego, CA)
