The Pinellas Park Patriots routed the visiting Gibbs Gladiators softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL). The Buccaneers go into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Berkeley Prep notched a victory over Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Gladiators now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they host St. Petersburg for a 5A District 11 battle on Monday, March 7. Gibbs will meet a Green Devils squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Hollins (St. Petersburg, FL). The Green Devils record now stands at 3-0.
