The Lake Norman Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting North Lincoln Knights to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Lake Norman moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, March 4. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 1-0. West Rowan won 5-4 in their recent non-league game against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A game, on Friday, March 4. North Lincoln will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Starmount (Boonville, NC).
