California High School Softball - North nudges St. Anthony

The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) and the visiting St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA), saw North's softball squad nip St. Anthony by a count of 3-2.

The Saxons now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Montgomery for a non-league match on Monday, March 7. North will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, St. Anthony falls to 2-6 on the season. The Saints travel to Durango (Las Vegas, NV) to meet the Trailblazers in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 10. The Trailblazers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
