The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) and the visiting Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), saw Pershing County's softball squad nip Sparks by a count of 10-9.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Carlin for a non-league match on Friday, March 4. Pershing County will face a Railroaders squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Railroaders record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Sparks falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Railroaders travel to Portola (Portola, CA) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, March 4. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-0.
