California High School Softball - Westminster bounces Santa Ynez

The Westminster Lions (Westminster, CA) softball routed the host Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA), 21-8 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Atascadero (Atascadero, CA). The Greyhounds go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Atascadero notched a victory over King City (King City, CA), 10-4, in a non-league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dos Pueblos for a Channel bout on Friday, March 4. Santa Ynez will confront a Chargers squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Lompoc (Lompoc, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 5-1.
