Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Sultana Sultans (Hesperia, CA) and the visiting Silverado Hawks (Victorville, CA), witnessed Sultana's softball squad tip Silverado by a count of 5-4.

The Sultans now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Diamond Bar for a non-league match on Saturday, March 5. Sultana will face a Brahmas squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Don Lugo (Chino, CA). The Brahmas record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Silverado moves to 4-4 on the season. The Hawks host Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 8. The Knights go into the match with a record of 4-1. Academy for Academic Excellence won 10-2 in their recent non-league match against Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale, CA)
