The Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX) softball routed the visiting Wichita Falls Coyotes (Wichita Falls, TX), 15-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Tascosa (Amarillo, TX). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 8-7 record. In their last bout, Tascosa notched a victory over Bowie (Bowie, TX), 10-2, in a non-league bout.
The Coyotes now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Godley for a non-league bout on Friday, March 4. Wichita Falls will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
