The Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks the host Pike County Pirates baseball team by a tally of 4-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Mavericks now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host DeSoto Central for a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. Archbishop McCarthy will face a Jaguars team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Long (Skipperville, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-3.

Next, the Pirates face the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 11. Pike County will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record.
