The Buena Colts crushed the visiting Higley Knights baseball team by a count of 8-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Colts now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flowing Wells for a non-league bout on Monday, March 6. Buena will face a Caballeros team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mountain View (Tucson, AZ). The Caballeros record now stands at 5-1.

Next, the Knights face the Campo Verde Coyotes (Gilbert, AZ) in a 5A San Tan bout, on Monday, March 6. Higley will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Coyotes enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ).
