North Carolina High School Baseball - Perquimans nips Holmes

Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Perquimans upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Pirates host Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 7. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Holmes falls to 0-2 on the season. The Aces host Washington (Washington, NC) to battle the Pam Pack in a non-league test on Monday, March 6. The Pam Pack come into the test with a record of 1-1. Washington won 9-5 in their recent non-league test against Holmes (Edenton, NC)
