The Pillow Academy Mustangs baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Southaven Chargers to 2 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Winston Academy (Louisville, MS). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Winston Academy tipped Winona Christian (Winona, MS), 11-1, in a non-league match.
The Chargers (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Independence (Independence, MS). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Independence was overwhelmed by Southaven (Southaven, MS), 16-1, in a non-league match.
