Virginia High School Basketball - Altavista routs Middlesex

In Friday's non-league outing, the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA), by a count of 78-57.

The Colonels (21-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Red Devils go into the non-league outing with a 27-0 record. In their last outing, Lancaster smashed Franklin (Franklin, VA), 70-53, in a non-league outing.

The Chargers now hold a 23-4 record.
