Michigan High School Basketball - Wolverine can't hold off Fairview

The Fairview Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Wolverine Wildcats to 56 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hale for a non-league contest on Monday, March 6. Fairview will battle a Eagles team coming off a 43-39 league loss to Oscoda (Oscoda, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 10-11.

The Wildcats (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Rogers City (Rogers City, MI). The Hurons come into the non-league contest with a 3-19 record. In their last contest, Rogers City was nudged by Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI), 67-56, in a non-league contest.
