In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Bear Lake Bears (Montpelier, ID) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 4. Melba will attempt to move on its 23-0 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 21-2 record after their 53-48 non-league win over Kellogg (Kellogg, ID).
With the defeat, St. Maries moves to 17-6 on the year.
