In Friday's non-league match, the host St. Thomas More Cougars basketball team scored a good 75-64 triumph over the Pineville Rebels.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Catholic-B.R. Bears (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 6. St. Thomas More will attempt to move on its 32-4 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 25-6 record after their 60-43 non-league win over Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA).
With the defeat, Pineville moves to 21-9 on the year.
