The Western Pioneers held off the visiting Paramount Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pioneers now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Magnolia for a test on Tuesday, March 7.
The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league test with a 7-3 record.
