In Friday's non-league battle, the host Los Angeles CES Unicorns volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Viewpoint Patriots.
The Unicorns now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taft for a non-league game on Friday, March 3. Los Angeles CES will confront a Toreadors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to University (Los Angeles, CA). The Toreadors record now stands at 4-2.
The Patriots (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Sylmar dropped by St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
