The San Marcos Royals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Newbury Park Panthers to 0 in the Royals non-league victory on Friday.
The Royals now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Barbara for a Channel game on Tuesday, March 7. San Marcos will confront a Dons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Westview (San Diego, CA). The Dons record now stands at 2-1.
The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Camarillo (Camarillo, CA). The Scorpions enter the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Camarillo dropped by Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
