The Capitan Tigers routed the visiting Academy for Technology and The Classics basketball team by a final score of 44-21 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 7. Capitan will attempt to move on its 22-6 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 15-13 record after their 52-47 non-league win over Tatum (Tatum, NM).

With the defeat, Academy for Technology and The Classics moves to 20-8 on the year.
