In Friday's non-league match, the host Belding Black Knights basketball team scored a tight 47-41 triumph over the Central Montcalm Hornets.
In their next game, the Black Knights meet the Frankenmuth Eagles (Frankenmuth, MI) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 7. Belding will attempt to move on its 15-9 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 21-2 record after their 45-34 non-league win over Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI).
With the defeat, Central Montcalm moves to 11-12 on the year.
