In Friday's non-league outing, the Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM), by a count of 55-20.
The Buffaloes (25-1) will now prepare for their outing against Springer (Springer, NM). The Red Devils go into the non-league outing with a 21-6 record. In their last outing, Springer smashed Logan (Logan, NM), 54-53, in a non-league outing.
The Rams now hold a 13-12 record.
