In Friday's non-league match, the host Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils basketball team scored a tight 40-35 triumph over the Oxford Wolverines.
In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, March 8. Coginchaug Regional will attempt to move on its 19-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 19-4 record after their 57-32 non-league win over Stonington (Stonington, CT).
With the defeat, Oxford moves to 13-8 on the year.
