Next, the Gryphons confront the Rutland Hurricanes (Macon, GA) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, March 7. Academy for Classical Education will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Jordan (Columbus, GA).

The Bulldogs now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jones County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7. Mary Persons will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-5.
