In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Palisades Pumas.
The Greenwave (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Cherryville was nudged by West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Pumas (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record.
