With the win, Chaparral upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Firebirds host Youngker (Buckeye, AZ) to battle the Roughriders in a non-league test on Friday, March 10. The Roughriders come into the test with a record of 1-2. Youngker lost 9-5 in their recent non-league battle against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ)

The Wildcats now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Havasu for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 7. Willow Canyon will play a Knights squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 4-0.
