Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA), 13-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bella Vista for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7.

With the loss, Woodcreek falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Sutter (Sutter, CA) to face the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 8. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 2-1. Sutter won 14-11 in their recent non-league game against Las Plumas (Oroville, CA)
