The Union Pines Vikings lacrosse squad (Cameron, NC), was nipped 11-10 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC)

Coming up next, the Comets meet the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) in a Greater Neuse River challenge, on Tuesday, March 7. Clayton will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
