Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Racers confront the Mount St. Mary Rockets (Oklahoma City, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 7. Newcastle will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Rockets enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Harrah (Harrah, OK).
The Demons now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MacArthur for a 5A District 2 outing on Thursday, April 6.
