The crowd at Friday's league test between the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) and the visiting Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA), saw Pope's soccer squad knock off Johns Creek by a margin of 3-1.
The Greyhounds now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Roswell for a 6A Area 7 test on Friday, March 10. Pope will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Johns Creek drops to 8-1 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Kell (Marietta, GA) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league test on Friday, March 10. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 5-3.
