The Abilene Eagles softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Plano East Panthers to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Abilene improves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Redwater (Redwater, TX) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league game on Friday, March 3. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 3-7. Redwater won 3-2 in their recent league game against De Kalb (De Kalb, TX)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Rockwall-Heath Hawks (Rockwall, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 4. Plano East will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 8-5 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Chisum (Paris, TX).
