Alabama High School Softball - Ashford bounces Belleview

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Ashford Yellowjackets (Ashford, AL) and the visiting Belleview Rattlers (Belleview, FL), witnessed Ashford's softball squad tip Belleview by a count of 8-1.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wakulla for a non-league match on Saturday, March 4. Ashford will face a War Eagles squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Crestview (Crestview, FL). The War Eagles record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Belleview moves to 3-2 on the season. The Rattlers travel to Freeport (Freeport, FL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, March 4. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 2-1. Freeport lost 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Marianna (Marianna, FL)
