Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ), witnessed Marana's softball squad prevail over Cholla by a count of 18-2.

The Tigers now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Desert View for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 7. Marana will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Douglas (Douglas, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.
