Texas High School Softball - College Station holds off Coronado

College Station Cougars (College Station, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Ridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. College Station will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Keller (Keller, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 14-0.
With the loss, Coronado falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to St. Pius X (Houston, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 12-5.
