The Early Longhorns softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Miles Bulldogs to 0 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Early moves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Longhorns host Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, March 3. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 5-7. Ingram Moore lost 18-0 in their recent non-league game against Harper (Harper, TX)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX) in a 2A Region I District 6 game, on Tuesday, March 14. Miles will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
