California High School Softball - El Capitan bounces Sage Creek

March 3, 2023: Lakeside, CA 92040

El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Vaqueros now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olympian for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7. El Capitan will face a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Imperial (Imperial, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Sage Creek falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Calexico (Calexico, CA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Calexico lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA)
