The Parkland Matadors softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host El Dorado Aztecs to 3 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Parkland moves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Matadors host Eastlake (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, March 3. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 8-8. Eastlake won 12-4 in their recent league game against Coronado (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Aztecs clash with the Eastwood Troopers (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 game, on Tuesday, March 7. El Dorado will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Troopers come into the game with a 9-8 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Chapin (El Paso, TX).
