In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Freer Buckaroos softball team scored a nice 21-2 win over the West Oso Bears.

Coming up next, the Buckaroos battle the Karnes City Badgers (Karnes City, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 7. Freer will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Badgers enter the outing with a 3-11 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX).

The Bears (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Pirates enter the 4A Region IV District 30 outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Sinton ran past Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX), 3-1, in a league outing.
