Pioneer Titans (Whittier, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Gabrielino Eagles (San Gabriel, CA), 16-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bell Gardens for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. Pioneer will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Gabrielino falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Montebello (Montebello, CA) to battle the Oilers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 8. The Oilers enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Montebello lost 20-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Monrovia (Monrovia, CA)
