The Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX) softball routed the host Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX), 8-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs (15-3) will now prepare for their bout against Irving (Irving, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Irving held off Berkner (Richardson, TX), 14-4, in a league bout.
The Bronchos now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Midway for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. Odessa will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-2.
