Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hirschi Huskies (Wichita Falls, TX), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wichita Falls for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4. Quanah will battle a Coyotes squad coming off a 21-1 non-league loss to Seymour (Seymour, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Hirschi falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Huskies host Nocona (Nocona, TX) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, March 3. The Indians go into the match with a record of 3-2. Nocona won 10-8 in their recent non-league match against Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX)
