Texas High School Softball - Mesquite bounces Naaman Forest

Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Naaman Forest Rangers (Garland, TX), 8-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Skeeters now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Randall for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. Mesquite will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Naaman Forest falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Sam Houston (Arlington, TX) to battle the Texans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4. The Texans enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
