The Midway Panthers softball team (Waco, TX), was routed 6-0 in Friday's non-league test with the host Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX)

Coming up next, the Plainsmen clash with the Fredericksburg Billies (Fredericksburg, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 4. Monterey will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Billies come into the test with a 8-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX).

The Panthers (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Blue Hawks come into the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Rock Hill was routed by John Paul II (Plano, TX), 9-6, in a non-league test.
