The Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) softball routed the host Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA), 12-3 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Railroaders (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

The Trojans now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lowry for a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. Quincy will confront a Buckaroos squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Lincoln County (Panaca, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 1-1.
