The Ray Texans softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Westlake Chaparrals to 4 in the Texans non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Ray moves its record to 14-3 on the year. The Texans travel to San Marcos (San Marcos, TX) to clash with the Rattlers in a non-league game on Friday, March 3. The Rattlers come into the game with a record of 3-7. San Marcos lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX)

In their next game, the Chaparrals clash with the Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 game, on Friday, March 10. Westlake will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record.
